Know Before You Go

January weather can change quickly. Allow extra time for travel, check for icy spots near curbs and parking lots, and bring a refillable bottle or thermos. Most indoor venues keep the heat on but recommend layers. If you or a neighbor needs a warm place during a cold snap, the Community Center lobby typically opens as a warming spot when overnight lows drop into the teens; posted signs at the building will confirm hours.

Spotlight: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Thank you to the volunteers supporting the coat and blanket swap and the library reading challenge. If you want to help, consider arriving 15 minutes early to assist with setup or staying a bit late to tidy up. Students can request a community service verification slip from event leads.
